More than 200 years old, La Vicomtesse sits high in the village of Seillans, just behind the town hall and close to the historic Saracen Gate. Its quiet, dead-end street has no through traffic.

Spread over four floors, the house offers a kitchen, a living room and two terraces, including a rooftop terrace accessed through the attic. Whether you’re spending time together or finding a quiet corner to yourself, there’s room to settle into your own holiday rhythm.

Four spacious bedrooms, each with a hotel-quality double bed, offer room to unwind. There is a bathroom on both the first and second floors, plus a separate toilet on the ground floor.

A few practical details

Staying with children

Young children can share their parents’ bedroom. Comfortable mattresses are available for older children; guests travelling with a baby should bring their own travel cot.

Parking & arrival

You can stop outside the house to unload your luggage before parking. The main parking lot is a one-minute walk and tucked out of sight behind the old village wall.

Part of the pleasure of staying in the Pays de Fayence is discovering its everyday life. These are a few places we love—and recommend to our guests.

Seillans

Explore Église Saint-Léger, browse the art galleries and look for second-hand treasures at the Recyclerie. Stop for coffee at Le Maquis, then take your time over a meal at Chez Hugo, Hôtel des Deux Rocs or La Gloire de Mon Père.

For local wines, two of our favourites are Château des Selves and Val d’Iris.

Bargemon & Fayence

We love Bargemon’s village square and market. In Fayence, market mornings and the antique markets at Le Grand Jardin offer plenty of reasons to linger, browse and enjoy the atmosphere.
